Our olive oil
From the collection of olives produced by our centuries-old olive trees surrounding Il Borgo, our high quality extra virgin olive oil is born. Olives, grown without the use of pesticides or synthetic insecticides, are carefully harvested between October and November and immediately taken to the mill for crushing (cold). The result is an oil with a high content of oleic acid and polyphenols, characterized by a fragrant aroma and a delicate taste. Perfect to enhance the flavor of any dish, we recommend to taste it raw to fully appreciate its qualities.
